- Previous experience in medical billing and insurance verification, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, billing codes (CPT, ICD-10), and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on resolving issues effectively.
- Proficient in using billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
